Education

Written by:

I graduated from SUNY Buffalo State University Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Theater. I began in 2019 and chose to pursue a Theater major and Television and Film Arts minor. During my last semester, I was awarded the President’s Medal for Outstanding Undergraduate Student and had the opportunity and privilege to deliver the School of Arts and Sciences student address at my Commencement ceremony.

While pursuing my degree I participated in 6 productions, 1 short film and numerous stage readings. Throughout my classes I acquired performance, directing, designing, writing and managing skills that I have utilized outside of Buffalo State University. The roles I have maintained throughout my education include performer, assistant director, script supervisor, stage manager and assistant stage manager.

Also, during my time at Buffalo State University, I was the President of Casting Hall Productions, a student-run production company that co-produces all theater productions within the Theater department. Before I was elected President, I held the roles of Public Relations & Marketing Manager and Vice President of the organization. While leading this organization I learned many valuable skills such as event management, group organization and communication, and budget management.
